Sheet Music Direct for iPad Version 1.1 Loaded with New Features

Unveiled in November, Sheet Music Direct for iPad was the app musicians had been waiting for. Now the best sheet music and guitar tab app has gotten even better. Hal Leonard has just released version 1.1 of Sheet Music Direct for iPad.

The expanded app now lets users import .PDFs, so they can transfer sheet music from their personal collections or upload original compositions to have as part of their convenient SMD for iPad library. They can add these songs to set lists, and enjoy the handy swipe navigation and pinch zooming that the iPad provides. SMD for iPad version 1.1 reads any .PDFs, so musicians can even import notes for gigs and between-song banter.

Push Notifications are also new to version 1.1. Songs are added to Sheet Music Direct daily; now users can opt to receive updates regarding the latest available titles and features.

Musicians with comments or questions can now contact Sheet Music Direct staff directly via the new in-app feedback form. They will hear back right away from a live person ready to help.

Along with these new features, Sheet Music Direct for iPad still includes 15 free preloaded songs, score transposition, playback, mixing, set lists, a tuner and metronome, Facebook and Twitter integration, and much more.

Sheet Music Direct for iPad boasts the world’s largest in-app sheet music store. More than 100,000 songs from favorite artists – in all styles and at all levels – are just a click away.

Sheet Music Direct for iPad version 1.1 is free, and available now on the App Store. Please visit www.sheetmusicdirect.us/ipad.
