Video Interview: Sekou Bunch

Sekou Bunch comes to us from a unique angle. Most people first caught notice of Sekou from his time on the 13th season of the CBS reality show Survivor. At age 45, he was the oldest of the 20 contestants entered that season. In an interesting scenario, that show has been able to thrust Sekou’s accomplishments into the spotlight. That list includes work with Quincy Jones, Rod Stewart, Stevie Wonder, George Benson, Wayne Shorter, and Liza Minneli, to name a few. Sekou also played for both the original stage production of Dreamgirls, as well as the recent motion picture adaptation. These are just a few of his numerous accomplishments, which all combined have earned Sekou his very own model bass with Carvin, an impressive instrument to say the least.
